Shipping and Handling Terms and Conditions

Important:

Some conditions may apply depending on the kind of product and the shipping address selected. Special conditions or limitations may apply for the shipment. Please read “Shipment Conditions”

Shipping on National Territory:

Shipping and handling costs will vary depending on the weight (see table). Orders will be shipped via certified mail. The maximum delivery time on the shipping address is 10 working days. No delivery will take on place on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

Shipping and Handling Costs

Charges apply for each shipment, regardless of the number of items. In the orders containing items with different shipping and handling costs, one unique charge will be applied according to the consolidated weight and volume.

When using the Cash-on-delivery service, COD, the delivery will have an additional surcharge of 2.91 € + 0,75 % of the total invoice amount. This surcharge and the invoice amount will be collected in cash by the deliverer.

In the event the item is not in stock, or if it is a special order, the maximum delivery time will be 45 working days. No delivery will take on place on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

Shipping Conditions

The shipping of books, movies, games, and storage material and decoration items is possible to Spain as well as the rest of the European Union.

Customer must pay for all shipping and handling costs.

You can also pay your online purchases with your debit or credit card (Visa, Master Card, Servired or Paypal) using the bank link through our Web Site to the Virtual Point of Sale Terminal (TVP as per it’s acronym in Spanish). As soon as you finish your order, the shopping cart will guide you through the payment procedure in a completely secure way. The payment is done through a secure server managed by La Caixa. Under no circumstances we will have any access to your credit card information.

Person-to-person payment. If you wish, you can come and visit our showroom at: Polígono Industrial de Európolis en las Rozas de Madrid, Calle Praga, 4, bajo, Madrid 28232. We will be glad to meet you there Monday - Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (16:00 to 19:00).

Cash-on-delivery, COD. You may pay in cash when you receive your delivery. This service has an additional cost 2.91 € + 0,75 % of the total invoice amount. This surcharge and the invoice amount will be collected in cash by the deliverer.

Warranty and Return of an Item

Warranty

The warranty certificate of Treehouse Proyectos Educativos, S.L., guarantees the quality of the products we distribute, in the legal established terms, during a period of 5 days, starting on the delivery date.

Damages caused by negligence, smashes, improper use or manipulation, unsuitable tension, improper installation, environmental conditions, material wear and tear due to normal use are not covered in the warranty.

In the event of a justified warranty claim, we will replace the item, offer a discount or return it, following the established legal terms.

Warranty will be void if:
- Data on the invoice, warranty or sales receipt have been tampered with  or substituted.

In order for the warranty to apply, it is essential to present the original receipt or purchase invoice.

Return of an item

The items we offer are endorsed by important worldwide known trademarks. Offering the highest quality and the best warranty is our commitment with our customers. If after receiving our order you are not satisfied with our products, you have fifteen (15) days to return the product, starting at the time of reception.

If we do not have an item available in our stock, we will send you an e-mail asking if you would like to receive it at a later date – when it is available - or if you would like to cancel that specific item from your current order.

Return from the shipping address:

In the event of a return, all shipping and handling fares will not be reimbursed - with the only exception of returned goods due to defects or manufacturing flaws.

In any case, and by previous communication from the client, Treehouse might coordinate the return of the materials through a delivery company. The shipping and handling costs will be paid by the customer (the amount will be equivalent to the product type acquired and the shipping address) - with the exceptions above mentioned.

In order to return the damaged material, the item has to be in perfect conditions and in the original package. Once the item arrives to our stock, and once the conditions of the product have been checked, we will proceed to reimbursing the amount, according to your payment method and the terms stated herein.

In any case, the return of defective products and mistaken orders will be admitted only if the customer informs Treehouse Proyectos Educativos of the problem within 15 fifteen days of reception date. In such a case, Treehouse Proyectos Educativos will pay for the shipping costs.

Materials returned  to our offices:

The items purchased through internet in our online store (www.latiendadelprofesor.com) can also be returned to our offices. The returns are exclusively sent to our offices in Madrid: Treehouse Proyectos Educativos S.L. ubicadas en calle Praga, 4, bajo, Polígono Industrial Európolis, 28232 Las Rozas. Madrid (España).

To return an item, the item has to be in perfect conditions, and in its original package. After checking the merchandise, we will proceed to the reimbursement of the amount, according to the payment method used during the purchase. In order to validate the return, the customer has to show the original invoice or sales receipt sent with the order.

Shipping and handling will only be reimbursed in the event of mistaken orders or defective material.

Treehouse Proyectos Educativos S.L. is the seller and distributor of the products offered in this service. It is understood that the sales operations take place in the following address: Calle Praga, 4, bajo, Polígono Industrial Európolis, 28232 Las Rozas. Madrid (España).

Defective items can only be replaced by an identical title.

Taxes

All our product prices on sale in our store and our Web Site include the Value Added Tax (V.A.T.).

This agreement and all transactions contemplated hereby, shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. For this purpose all our sales are intended to be made at the commercial address of TREEHOUSE PROYECTOS EDUCATIVOS S.L.:

Registry, Changes, Security and Confidentiality Policy

According to the 15/1999 Organic Law on Privacy Protection, dated December13t, and the 34/2002 law on information services and e-commerce, dated July 11th, Treehouse Proyectos Educativos S.L. warrants the confidentiality of your personal data.
In order to place your first order, you will have to provide  us your Name and Last Name / Company Name, DNI or CIF  Number, Fiscal Address and Shipping Address, Telephone and Mobile number, E-Mail, Delivery Time, and any other information you consider essential in order for us to deliver your purchased products. Once you place an order, your personal information, address and payment form are included in a database used only to deliver your purchase as well as to send you information on offers and services that might interest you. You will be able to change your customer data (address, telephone, etc.) at any time.
